Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and /or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds;
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (95%), Sitting (5%);
- Ability to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods;
- Ability to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focus.
- Ability to smell and identify odors;
- Ability to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications;
- Responsible for giving all guests Little General 5-Star Customer Service.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining a clean and safe food service area in accordance with LG, OSHA, and local Health Department guidelines in regards to food, food service areas, and food service equipment.
- Responsible for making all menu items according to branded and/or proprietary and food safety guidelines by following recipes and builds as well as time and temperature procedures.
- Responsible for monitoring equipment; ensuring general food service equipment and refrigeration is of safe working order and reporting any problems with equipment to the deli manager.
- Must be in complete uniform and follow hygiene guidelines at all times as outlined by the brand and LG.
- Responsible for following all LG handbook policies and procedures.
- Responsible for acquiring food handler's certification as required by local health department within 30 days of employment and maintaining certification throughout your employment.
