Before and After Care Teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Before and After Care Teacher to oversee the safety, engagement, and development of our before and after care children. This individual will work closely with children, parents, and other staff members to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience during before and after school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise children during morning and afternoon care programs
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, such as arts, crafts, games, and story time
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
• Support children with snack time and help with transitions
• Collaborate with the Director and staff to maintain a structured environment
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for childcare
• Able to perform any other task assigned by the management
• Should be available from 6.30 AM- 9.00 AM ( Before Care) & 2.45 PM – 6.30PM ( After Care). Hours may vary based on center need.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children (preschool experience preferred)
• A warm, patient, and energetic personality
• Excellent communication skills, especially with parents
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass a background check & other clearances

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Franklin Park, NJ 08823: Relocate before starting work (Required)
