Little Genius Planet, in partnership with the Franklin Township School District, is offering a Preschool program at our center. This position involves working within one of these classrooms. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest learners.
Position Overview:
We are looking to hire a passionate and experienced certified teachers for our Preschool Expansion Program. The ideal candidates should hold a P3 certification or have obtained a Certificate of Eligibility (CE)/( CEAS) and be in the process of completing the P3 certification.
Qualifications:
- Valid P3 certification or Certificate of Eligibility (CE)/(CEAS) with active progress toward P3 certification.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
- Experience working with children in group settings is preferred.
- Strong classroom management abilities and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to complete all required state clearances.
- Commitment to completing teacher certifications as needed.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with children, parents, and management.
- Team player with excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain an organized, engaging, and effective classroom environment.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and activities in alignment with the HighScope Curriculum.
- Provide a nurturing, safe, and supportive space for children’s learning and growth.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized classroom.
- Complete required documentation for the classroom and maintain accurate student records.
- Track student progress and prepare report cards as needed.
- Assist with opening or closing the center as required.
- Participate in staff training sessions and meetings.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management in support of center operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
