We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Teacher & Supervisor to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities:
As a Preschool Teacher:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for children.
- Foster a nurturing, creative, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor children’s development and provide ongoing assessments.
- Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress and needs.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Keep the classroom organized and clean.
As a Preschool Closing Supervisor:
- Supervise the process of children being picked up by parents or guardians, communicate with them as needed regarding incidents or special notes given by the Director.
- Conduct a final safety check of the facility to ensure all things are closed and taken care properly.
- Supervise and assist teaching staff and ensure that they complete end-of-day responsibilities, such as cleaning and organizing their classrooms.
- Ensure bathrooms and common areas are cleaned.
- Complete any necessary paperwork or reports, such as incident reports, attendance records, or daily logs.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree/Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Previous experience in both teaching and leadership roles in early childhood education.
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment for children and staff.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
