About This Position

Fresh Take Grocery is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to work directly with the Store Director to achieve our focus on providing a Fresh, Easy, and Value-Driven customer experience. This role involves leading and inspiring store associates to enhance job performance and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities :

• Direct 40-50 store employees to provide outstanding customer service while focusing on sales
• Train, develop, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve productivity and service goals
• Set standards and enforce procedures to increase sales and maximize gross profit
• Manage DSD vendors, ordering, and ensure deliveries / invoices are accurate
• Maintain a positive working environment that creates high staff morale
• Follow all guidelines, policies, changes, and instructions
• Maintain the banner's focus on fresh through Meat, Seafood, Produce, Deli, Bakery, and Dairy
• Follow a weekly merchandising plan to emphasize the banner's focus on value
• Ensure pricing is correct throughout the store
• Execute community events
• Comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines (USDA, GADPH, WIC, SNAP, etc.)
• Handle customer requests, complaints, and other customer matters
