Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Create a structured daily routine for children that includes playtime, learning time, and rest time for school age children
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
- Follow the curriculum provided to you for the summer and feild trips
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or nanny setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with first aid procedures for children
- Ability to manage a classroom of children and maintain discipline while fostering a positive learning environment
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and educational activities
