Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all children, including those with disabilities or autism.
- Incorporate Montessori methods into daily activities to enhance independent learning experiences.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a safe space for learning.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or private school setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques is essential.
- Experience in toddler care or working with children who have disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including math concepts for young learners, is beneficial.
- A background in Montessori education is a plus but not mandatory.
