Job Summary
The Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the educational environment within a classroom setting. Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Provide assistance in literacy education and math instruction to enhance student understanding.
- Engage with students during lessons, offering additional support as needed.
- Help with lesson planning by contributing ideas and resources that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Supervise students during playtime and other non-instructional periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress and needs.
- Assist in caring for toddlers when applicable, ensuring their developmental needs are met.
Skills
