Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and love for learning. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods, and the ability to engage children in meaningful activities that promote their growth in a positive way.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters creativity and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Educate children on various subjects through hands-on learning experiences, play, and structured activities.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Experience
- Preferred experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is preferred. But will train the right candidate for our team.
- Familiarity with Montessori principles is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
- Experience in curriculum development, standardized testing, or tutoring will be considered an asset.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- A background in working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
MUST HAVE:
AZ fingerprint clearance card, High School Diploma, Current Negative TB test.
After hire, First Aid Certificate, Food Handlers Card, Ability to take required courses for Licensing and DES programs within 60 days of hire.

Pay: $14.35 - $15.00 per hour
