Little Landmines Pet-Waste Removal is a local poop-scoop company in Delaware and Maryland that prides ourselves on our reliability, attention to detail, and incredible service! We are hiring a technician to cover a route in Middletown/Odessa/Townsend (aka "MOT") and New Castle/Bear, Delaware areas
Most of our technicians have full-time jobs and do this as a side gig for extra money. You are an independent contractor and will receive a 1099 for your pay at year end. The amount of work you get is based on the number of clients in the area . You are paid by job with a 50% or more commission. You can easily earn $25 an hour or more if you work quickly and efficiently. Great job for SAHP's and teens. You MUST have your own reliable car and insurance. The most important attributes one must have for this job is reliability, love of pets, and attention to detail. There is an existing route in these areas of about 7-8 yard cleanings a week with room to grow.
Job Overview: As a Pet Waste Removal Technician at Little Landmines, you will play a vital role in helping us provide exceptional pet waste management services to our clients. This job requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for animals and community service. You will work independently or with a team to ensure our customers' yards remain clean and sanitary, while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pet waste removal services at residential properties on a scheduled basis.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle with necessary tools and supplies (provided by us).
- Safely dispose of pet waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Follow company protocols for safety, sanitation, and customer care.
- Be punctual and reliable, ensuring that jobs are completed within agreed-upon timeframes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (we do hire students who can drive alone, please just ask).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including bending, lifting, and walking.
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Prior experience with pets or in outdoor work is a plus but not required. Must love dogs!
