Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Facilitate activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall development of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and assessments.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
Skills
- Strong experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is beneficial for working with younger children.
- Familiarity with special education principles to support diverse learning needs.
- Experience in caregiving or babysitting roles is an asset.
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all students.
- Previous experience working with children in various capacities (nannying, teaching, etc.) is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
