Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate children's learning and development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn
- Supervise and monitor children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to address any concerns or questions
- Maintain open and effective communication with colleagues, parents, and guardians
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Foster positive social interactions among children, encouraging cooperation and empathy
- Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and development
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Familiarity with first aid procedures for children
- Understanding of special education needs is a plus
- Experience in babysitting, daycare, or caregiving roles
