We are looking for 1 -2 candidates to join our infant and toddler program. This person must be organized, consistent, be able to control and maintain the classroom while abiding by state regulations and company policies
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for children with special needs, including those with autism.
- Support students in their daily routines and provide individualized attention and care.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and modify curriculum materials to meet the specific needs of the students.
- Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning centers and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Provide support during meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members regarding student progress and any concerns.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies is beneficial.
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and curriculum development is desirable.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student and provide appropriate support.
