Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our nurturing team. This role involves working with toddlers, and preschool-aged children, focusing on their developmental needs through structured activities and play. The Daycare Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
- Engage with preschool-aged children through interactive play and educational activities.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop programs that cater to children's diverse needs, including those requiring special education support.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Candidates should possess a genuine love for working with children and the ability to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
