Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ physical abilities and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide physical therapy services in the student’s home using a range of therapeutic techniques suited to pediatric and school-aged populations.
- Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and school district teams to support student progress and continuity of care.
- Educate families on home-based exercises, adaptive strategies, and safe mobility practices.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress in compliance with education and health regulations.
- Monitor and adjust therapy plans to ensure effectiveness and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with children who have disabilities, in the Early Intervention
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Desire to improve the quality of life of children with special needs.
- Bilingual a plus
- DOH fingerprinting clearance
Starting Rate- $80-120 per session
Availibility: Minimum 3 days a week
