What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon/ Evening Floater Teacher position at Little Mates Child Development Center?
We are seeking an afternoon / evening floater teacher. Hours are flexible as long as the candidate can commit to a minimum of 4PM-530PM Monday-Friday. If the candidate would like more hours, we can certainly discuss an earlier start time! The candidate would come in the afternoon / end of day to relieve teachers day shift teachers to go home.
*Responsibilities*
- Implement lesson plans / activities / ideas
- Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment for students
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a productive learning atmosphere
- Follow school policies and procedures diligently
- Communicate with parents at pick-up time
*Skills*
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and parents effectively
- Experience working with children in educational settings
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching styles and environments
- Previous experience in childcare
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
