We are growing and looking for daycare nannies to grow with us. Must love working with children. Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Fast paced, fun work environment. If you are looking for a job in which you make a big difference in a child's life, this is it! We have wonderful children, staff, and parents. Looking to fill a morning/afternoon daycare nanny.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 11:00 am (sometimes from 7:30am)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Requirements
- Be able to pass an enhanced background check through Health and Welfare (Cost $65 Your responsibility to pay)
- Need to have or be able to obtain Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (Your responsibility to pay)
- Have experience with Newborn at least 1 years
Responsibilities
- Prepare bottles or both breastmilk and formula for feeding and clean all bottle parts and pieces after feeding.
- Must be knowledgeable on proper feeding positions for infants
- Must be knowledgeable on appropriate wake times and sleeping schedules for infants
- Must know and follow state and ICCP safe sleep guidelines
- Maintain healthy and professional relationships with all children, parents and other teachers
- Collaborate with other teachers/staff/nannies as needed
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Must be comfortable and confident managing a classroom independently
- Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a childcare setting
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain proper documentation
Skills:
- Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care and support to children
- Education: Knowledge of child development principles and ability to educate children through engaging activities
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or classroom setting
- Infant care: Understanding of the unique needs of infants and ability to provide appropriate care
- Special education: Familiarity with special education techniques and strategies for supporting children with special needs
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of early childhood education theories, practices, and curriculum development

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
