Requirements
Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities:
The Executive Sous Chef is a key part of the leadership team driving culinary excellence at Little Palm Island.
As the Executive Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in continuing to build and develop the team consisting of, Sous Chefs Pastry Chef, local and international line-level culinary associates (for whom some employee housing is available).
You will partner with our Executive Chef in menu development and maintaining the culture and vision of the culinary program. Beyond that, you let your creative juices flow with specials, seasonal menus, Island buy-outs & Chef's Tables all in our brand-new, no expense spared, kitchen.

What it Takes to be the successful Executive Sous Chef:
To be successful in the role as Executive Sous Chef you bring experience leading a culinary team in a luxury, boutique hotel with a top-notch exclusive restaurant (a Relais & Chateaux property).
Additional experience, such as a degree from an accredited culinary institute will be highly regarded.
Naturally, you have the drive to exceed expectations for this iconic location. This will come with your innate ability to handle the ups, downs and sometimes long hours of a world class kitchen and the leadership skills to develop and inspire a culinary team.
