Position Overview
As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work closely with children, families, and staff to promote positive behavioral and emotional well-being. Your role will involve assessing individual needs, developing personalized intervention plans, and collaborating with teachers to create supportive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to children experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Conduct assessments to identify needs and implement tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop classroom strategies that promote positive behavior.
- Partner with families to provide guidance and resources for continued support at home.
- Offer training and resources to staff to enhance their understanding of behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in ECE, Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children in a behavioral health or educational setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
