What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher/Assistant position at Little People's Education Center?

If this describes you, our company is seeking GREAT Preschool, Toddler and Infant teachers!
Our two preschool classes consist of ages 3-4 and 4-5, toddlers classes are ages 1-2 and 2-3 and infants... well those bundles of joy are 3 weeks to 1 yr of age. Classes are structured with emphasis on social and emotional growth along side academic curricular implementation and child interest approaches are key components to the success of our students.
You will be meeting the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of individual children; direct interaction with children during daily activities to ensure a cooperative and respectful and harmonious learning environment. Other responsibilities include assisting with cleaning and maintaining an enriched environment throughout the center, maintain a healthy, safe environment, loving and promoting positive, open communication with parents and fellow team members. Organization and multi-tasking is apart of daily events.
Experience with children in an educational environment (ie, church, volunteer in the school district, etc.) is highly preferred. Position requires enrollment in early childhood training/educational classes wherein you can be compensated up to 75% of class tuition! If you have acquired a CDA or have obtained early childhood credits you will be eligible for a higher salary following a probationary period.
This is a permanent position and a commitment to teach for no less than a year. These positions are not for the light hearted, these openings are far more than a "paycheck" and requires a great deal of patience and energy.
