Position: Lead Toddler Teacher
Location: Little Railers Daycare
Class Size: 7 future little learners (2-year-olds)
Schedule: Full-time

As the lead in our Toddler 2’s room, you’ll play a key role in helping children build independence, assisting with potty training, and preparing them for a smooth transition to the preschool classroom.

What You’ll Do:
- Create and implement fun, age-appropriate lesson plans for toddlers
- Build a loving, structured classroom routine full of play, learning, and growth
- Assist in potty training and help toddlers develop self-care skills
- Support developmental milestones that prepare children to move up to preschool
- Ensure compliance with KDHE licensing rules and classroom ratios
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom where kids thrive
- Use gentle, effective classroom management techniques
- Embody and communicate Little Railers’ mission and values daily
- Stay open to learning, collaboration, and personal growth
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
Work Location: In person
