Position Summary:
Provide ongoing support to operations associates ensuring the team is enabled and empowered to deliver on operations objectives related to safety, quality, efficiency, and morale. In partnership with area managers create an environment where goals are clear, and associates are capable and empowered to succeed.

Objectives:
- Operational Delivery
- Create, communicate, validate, and report the plan for the day
- Guide or Support problem solving efforts in conjunction with other departments

Results:
- Operators on crew are staffed, trained, and developed to deliver on operational objectives.
- Workflow expertise including impact of actions on results.
- Improvement in organizational KPIs and visual management standards.
Actions:
- Review and approve timekeeping entries.
- Maintain daily operational documents and facilitate daily meetings.
- Validate safety, quality, productivity, and service targets through health checks and audits.
- Provide cross-shift communication and support orientation and training efforts.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to understand safety, quality, and efficiency concerns.
- Manage designated improvement projects.

Education, Certifications, and Experience:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- B.S. in a Business or similar discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical and analytical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Key Competencies:

- Able to use existing operating systems (KRONOS, JDE, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
The ability to work in a normal manufacturing environment to include: sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time; climbing stairs; operating various standard office equipment; carrying paper documents/files; reaching; bending; twisting; crawling; speaking on the telephone, etc. This is an on-site position with limited remote work capabilities.
The ability to wear required personal protection gear (i.e. hearing, eye, and foot protection as well as other personal protective equipment such as gloves and aprons, etc.); tolerating loud noise (maximum of 95 dB); tolerating extreme heat, col,d and dusty environment.
