Full time PreK teacher

Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing strategies that promote positive interactions among students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development.
• Ensure the welfare of all children by maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and child welfare practices.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities that promote physical education and overall well-being.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• A nurturing attitude towards children with a commitment to fostering their growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in education or related fields are advantageous.
