Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant, grocery store, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Culinary experience or training is beneficial but not mandatory.
