Am I qualified for this job?
1. No Prior Teaching Experience is Required
Swim instructors work year-round teaching swim lessons to a variety of ages. Prior teaching experience is not required, but highly desirable. We train each of our swim instructors on how to teach students within our custom curriculum. During the multi-week training, we make sure that instructors are fully equipped with the techniques and knowledge they need to effectively teach.
2. Great for Those Seeking Teaching Roles in the Future
This is a great position for young adults that want to teach or coach sports after highschool/college. They will gain hands-on experience on how to teach effectively and foster talent in young athletes. Having this kind of experience on their resume can help them get similar roles in the future.
