Seeking qualified School Age/ Van driver Teachers for our school located at 2400 Wildwood Ave Sherwood Arkansas.
Part-time when school is in, full time when kids are out of school. (Closed days fall break, winter break, summer)
Required to attend field trip and create hands on experience based on the centers themes.

Requirements
- Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience working with children
- Flexible and energetic on the job
- Have the ability to juggle multiple duties
- Ability to resolve conflicts between children
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Must pass a criminal background check
Must be 21 and over
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers License and excellent driving record - must provide 7 year Motor Vehicle Report
Responsibilities
- Planning, teaching and implementing the curriculum for school age children
- Providing love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needs
- Planning and executing indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
- Interacting with children both physically and verbally throughout the day
- Assisting children with their personal hygiene and clean up of classroom
- Serve and eat meals with the children
- Meet with parents, staff, and administration
- Attend in-service and staff development training programs
- Familiarity with state licensing requirements
Drive bus as needed
- Ability to resolve conflicts between children
- Excellent communication and people skills
- First Aid and CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Establish routes, schedules and procedures with the school director to maximize safety of children.
- Adhere to the established schedule to the best of your ability.
- Observe all Department of Motor Vehicle rules and regulations and make sure all speed limits are observed.
- Complete a daily inspection of the van, a weekly inspection of tires, oil, blades, etc. and report all van maintenance issues to the Director.
- Insure there is an adequate amount fuel to complete trip.
- Ensure all state mandated items are present and in good working order.
- Passenger Log forms should be completed as children arrive and depart the van.
- Keep the vans litter free and cleaned up after each van run.
- Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
- Meet and maintain all state licensing requirements/qualifications and comply with all CNI Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Attend all staff trainings and pursue professional training when available.
- Maintain flexibility regarding the business demands of the school, including scheduled working hours and assignments.
- Assist in other areas as requested by management.
- Maintain a professional relationship with all personnel and business related associates
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
