Summary
Our Support Staff is the glue that holds our team together! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Little Scholars. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our teaching staff by providing break coverage, helping prep curriculum, cover for a vacation day, helping with a child who needs extra assistance, light cleaning. It is important to be flexible and have a fun personality. You will work closely with children to support their educational journey while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage in classrooms as needed, ensuring that the children are being cared for and remain engaged while you are there
- Help teachers in a variety of ways - from cutting projects, to being extra hands when needed
- Follow a daily schedule that allows you to help in a variety of classrooms and even tasks around the center.
Requirements
- EEC Teacher Certification or 9 months experience and Child Growth and Development course
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
- Flexible to interact with multi classrooms and age groups throughout the day.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
