Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care. Your role will involve supervising activities, providing educational support, and ensuring the well-being of each child. Responsibilities: - Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth - Create a positive and supportive learning environment - Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Change diapers and provide assistance with toileting as needed - Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience for all children - Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior - Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas that may require additional support or intervention Qualifications: - Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting, classroom, or daycare environment - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices - Familiarity with behavior management techniques - Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children, including those with special needs or disabilities - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with infants/toddlers - Background in special education or related field Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
