Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Floater to join our team. The Floater will provide support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students while assisting teachers . This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a positive impact on young learners.

Starting part time leading to full time. Possibly be on call during part time.

Duties

• Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities across different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers.
• Supervise and engage with students during playtime, meals, and transitions to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Support curriculum development by contributing ideas that enhance learning experiences in a Montessori or traditional setting.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and students to foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Adapt to various classroom settings as needed, providing coverage for teachers during planning periods or absences.

Skills

• Experience working with students in a private school setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices, including Montessori methods.
• Familiarity with toddler care and preschool curriculum development.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively.
• A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children through engaging activities and support.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
