Part-Time Preschool Aide – Coeur d'Alene, ID
We are a Christian preschool seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Preschool Aide to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children and want to be part of a nurturing, faith-based environment, we would love to hear from you.
Position Details:
- Location: Coeur d'Alene, ID
- Hours: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Age Group: 2–5 years old
- Paid Holidays: After 90 days (we are closed approximately 15 days per year for holidays)
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in supervising and engaging children in daily activities
- Encourage positive social interactions and support children's emotional and developmental growth
- Help facilitate creative learning activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and playtime
- Monitor children during lunch, nap time, and outdoor play
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents to support each child's needs
- Uphold school policies and ensure a structured yet nurturing atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children is preferred
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a dynamic classroom setting
- Ability to foster a warm and encouraging environment for children
