Job Description
The BCBA will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans using evidence-based practices and interventions, including play- based therapy and Natural Environment Teaching. The BCBA will conduct ongoing comprehensive assessments for their caseload and will provide supervision in accordance with Little Spurs Autism Centers standards for our clients. They will also follow policies, practices, procedures and applicable regulations by the BACB. This position will report to the Clinical Director and will work closely with the Center Manager for client success.
Job Duties
- Responsible for full implementation of an ABA program including completing initial and ongoing assessments, developing, monitoring, and adjusting client treatment plans and goals, and overseeing the implementation of these treatment plans
- Provide supervision, training, and support to Behavioral Technicians to support a client’s treatment program
- Ensure regular Caregiver Training is conducted to support client treatment goals
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in client’s care plan to support holistic approach to meeting the client’s treatment goals
- Assist with clinic operations as needed such as providing direct service, clinical support, etc.
- Attend Continuing Education (CE) events to maintain and increase knowledge and clinical skillset
- Meet minimum monthly billable hour requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree OR scheduled to graduate with Master’s Degree within 60 days from an accredited program/university, preferably in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, sociology, education, behavior analysis, or related field of study; required
- Must have a current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB OR Must be an RBT who has completed field work hours and is scheduled to sit for the exam in the next 60 days. Applicants with an LCSW and/or Nurse Practitioner license and demonstrable experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder will also be considered
- Current Texas LBA certificate
- Must pass criminal background check
- Valid Driver’s License required
