Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is looking to add a Seasonal/ Full Time Bilingual Medical Assistant to our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working with kids. Our MA job positions allow for flexible schedules as well as education and training opportunities.
Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is looking to add a Seasonal/ Full Time Bilingual Medical Assistant to our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working with kids. Our MA job positions allow for flexible schedules as well as education and training opportunities.
What You Need (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program, or Certified Medical Assistant with relevant work experience required
- Must pass criminal background check
- American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to start date
- Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
- Enjoys working with children!
The Perks (Benefits):
- Salary: $16 - $18 depending on experience
- Overtime pay available
- Free in-house medical care for employee and dependent children
The Nitty Gritty (Day To Day):
- Work with your team members to provide excellent medical care to our patients!
- Comfort sick or injured children and their nervous parents
- Triage children and gather relevant medical history
- Administer medications as directed by a provider
- Perform point of care testing as directed
- Assist providers during exam and procedures
- Perform x-ray positioning as directed
- Document visit in EHR
When We Operate (Schedule):
- 12, 10 and 8 hour shifts available
- Rotating Weekends
- Clinic Hours are as follows: Mon – Fri: 9:00 am – 8:30 pm
- Sat-Sun: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
