A Day in the Life of a Behavioral Support Specialist
- Direct Support: Provide one-on-one instruction to clients in classroom, home, and community settings.
- Skill Development: Work on communication, social skills, toilet training, functional play, and gross/fine motor skills.
- Data Collection: Monitor and record clients' progress toward behavioral goals each day.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other Behavior Technicians and Supervisors to ensure consistent and effective ABA therapy.
- Training: Participate in a comprehensive two-week training course to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed.
