Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and caring for children, guiding their development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Your ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff will be essential in creating a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children in foundational subjects such as math, literacy, and social skills through interactive activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's development and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance.
- Supervise daily activities, including playtime, meals, and nap time, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or have at least 4 core units completed towards an Early Childhood Education degree.
- Experience in tutoring or classroom settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various learning styles.
- A passion for working with young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required.
