**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for students
- Support lead teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and educational activities
- Help with daily routines, such as meal time, nap time, and outdoor play
- Provide individualized support and care to students, including those with special needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching practices and student care
- Perform first aid when necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and cleaning the classroom
- Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and experiences
**Skills:**
- Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education and child development principles
- Ability to work with students with special needs and provide individualized support
- Experience in childcare
- Certification in first aid and CPR
- Current DCDEE background check
- Current TB test

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
