Overview:
The Service Manager will oversee the watch repair department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. This role involves communicating with our watchmakers and manufacturers, maintaining quality control, communicating estimates and updates with customers and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of watch repair, and a passion for horology. The Service Manager will also be responsible for selling watches and jewelry and must have a minimum of 3 years of prior experience in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the watch repair department to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and procedures to optimize productivity.
- Ensure all repairs meet company standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular quality checks on completed work and customer feedback.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
- Delivers the highest quality professionalism and customer experience, while driving sales and meeting sales expectations.
- Develops social media presence of the Watch side of the business.
- Clienteles constantly to help develop customer relationships.
- Helps maintain store and merchandise for excellent presentation to customers, as well as inventory management.
- Assists in the opening and closing of the store.
- Processes repair transactions, ensures quality control, and delivers a satisfactory repair to
- customers.
- Completes tasks and projects handed down by management in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the marketing department to ensure company initiatives are being executed in a timely and successful manner.
- Merchandises items on our sales floor throughout the day
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Has a highschool diploma or higher and minimum of 3 years selling watches in a professional retail setting; jewelry sales experience and knowledge is a plus.
- Has excellent watch knowledge of watch brands and terminology; jewelry knowledge is a plus.
- Driven to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and news in the watch industry; takes part in brand training with the ability to travel for training events.
- Ability to Multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media, as well as being comfortable utilizing social media to drive sales, clientele, and increase social media presence of our business.
- Creative, resourceful, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to change watch bracelets and straps, size up and down watch bracelets, and handle watches with care; knowledge of changing watch batteries is a plus (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills and passion for our product.
