Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
Skills
- Experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety principles
- Proficiency in food handling techniques
- Ability to work with knives and other kitchen tools
- Familiarity with catering and food service operations
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or Culinary professional is a plus
- Strong menu planning skills
