Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Create engaging and interactive activities to promote physical, cognitive, and social development
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Experience working with students who have special education needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential
Skills:
- Physical education: Ability to incorporate physical activities into the daily routine to promote gross motor skills development
- Preschool education: Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods for preschool-aged children
- Special education: Understanding of strategies for supporting students with special needs in an inclusive classroom setting
- Lesson planning: Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with educational objectives and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Curriculum development: Experience in designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children
- Classroom management: Skill in maintaining a structured and organized classroom environment while promoting student engagement and positive behavior
- Literacy education: Knowledge of early literacy development and strategies for fostering language skills in young children
