What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teacher/Daycare position at Little Village Academy?
You must be available to work at least Monday-Friday from 2-6pm. We need a person that can bring energy to our after school program. The children have been in class all day and are looking for creative fun after school time. You would be responsible for the safety of the children in your care. This is not a babysitting position, you must be able to bring structure to this program each and every day. We have children from 6 weeks - 6th grade in our program. Being able to speak to parents and build school/home relationships is a must. Housekeeping is the responsibility of the after school staff to close the room in the evening. Child care experience is a plus but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for college students in the Early Education field to gain hands on experience.
