Job Summary:
Little Visionaries Preparatory Academy is seeking an experienced and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a teacher at our academy, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement a high-quality educational program that promotes kindergarten readiness. Please note: We are a preschool, not a daycare, and our focus is on fostering early childhood development and education.
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Age Group: All
Hourly Pay: $12 to $14, based on experience

Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of childcare experience
- Ability to pass a clear background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a creative, engaging curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Utilize a variety of educational techniques (such as storytelling, play-based learning, and media) to enhance children’s learning experiences.
- Observe and assess each child's progress to support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Foster a positive, interactive environment where children can develop their communication and problem-solving skills.
- Guide children in developing their artistic and practical abilities, such as identifying shapes, colors, numbers, and participating in crafts and activities.
- Supervise children during nap times, snack breaks, and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Track children’s progress and provide regular updates to parents.
- Maintain consistent and open communication with parents to understand each child’s unique background and needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to maintain a supportive and enriching classroom environment.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Assist with diapering and toileting needs as necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure the delivery of a high-quality learning environment.
