Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
  • Foster literacy education through age-appropriate activities that enhance reading and writing skills.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in curriculum development to ensure that educational content meets the needs of all learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is desired.
  • Experience working with Infant children in a classroom setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of standardized testing practices and ability to implement them effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Ability to provide tutoring support for individual students as needed.
  • A creative approach to curriculum development that incorporates diverse learning styles.
