Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Interact with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
• Take drink orders accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcoholic beverages to prevent over-serving.
• Check identification to verify customers are of legal drinking age.
• Restock bar inventory as needed, including liquor, beer, wine, and mixers.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, ensuring proper cash management.
• Assist in creating new drink recipes and innovate seasonal or special offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Attend training sessions to enhance mixology skills and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues with professionalism and poise.
• Engage in promotional activities and marketing to enhance sales.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality preferred.
• Proven experience as a bartender in a high-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of drink recipes and mixology.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Basic math skills to calculate bills and manage transactions.
• Certification in bartending or mixology is a plus.
• Understanding of inventory management and ordering processes.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
