What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Team Summer Intern position at Little Words Project?
Little Words Project is looking for a Retail Marketing Intern who will help with the day-to-day responsibilities of our Retail Team. This intern will work closely with the Retail Coordinator, Director of Stores, and VP of Retail Operations.

- Assist with the rollout and management of collection launches and promotions
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of our retail network, ensuring alignment between corporate retail strategy and in-store execution.
- Assist in the planning and execution of visual merchandising strategies, ensuring that store displays align with brand guidelines and drive customer engagement.
- Present ideas to capture in-store shoppers through various marketing channels
- Event Coordination:
- Work directly with Retail Coordinator on event planning and execution
- Update and maintain vendor connection list and event supplies list
- Assist on-site as needed
- Market analysis:
- Gather data and identify trends/opportunities to make informed suggestions during meetings
- Identify target competitors and analyze trends in their data on the in-store level
- Pack and ship visual merchandising-related items to various LWP stores
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in retail operations, fashion, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and take initiative when needed.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- A friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in-office from our Mountainside, NJ office 3-4 days per week
