We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, Patient Care Coordinator for a FULL-TIME position working with pediatrics. Bilingual preferred.

Essential Responsibilities and Functions:
- Heavy scheduling
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Collecting Copay balances
- Being professional at all times and providing friendly customer service
- Perform a wide variety of clerical duties that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of computers and other office technology
- Understanding the existing lines of communication and authority
- Acting as a liaison between the patient and other departments to resolve issues and/or patient
- Monthly insurance verification
- New patient intake and authorization verification
- Organize and schedule specialized vendor related client appointments
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be dependable, reliable, and detail oriented
- Ability to display active listening and verbalize empathy
- Ability to work independently and handle communications properly
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, and procedures
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information
- Knowledge of basic word processing, spreadsheet, familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools and PowerPoint software programs
Qualifications (Required):
- Have high school diploma or equivalent
- Enjoy working with pediatrics and the special needs community
- Availability to work between the hours of 8am-6:30pm(Monday-Friday)
Experience
- Experience working in a healthcare facility(1 year experience preferred)
- Experience working with one or more EMR/EHR or scheduling programs(willing to train)
- Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
