Responsibilities:

As a Real Estate & Probate Litigation Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in our firm's success. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing a diverse caseload of complex probate litigation matters and real estate litigation matters, including disputes related to commercial and residential properties, landlord-tenant issues, zoning and land use, title disputes, and more all the boring law school stuff, which is actually very interesting in real life.
2. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
3. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, and briefs.
4. Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials.
5. Negotiating and resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or arbitration.
6. Collaborating with a team of skilled attorneys to provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
7. Managing client relationships and maintaining regular communication regarding case progress and developments.
8. Keeping abreast of current real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and informed counsel to clients.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role and become an integral part of our elite legal team, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Ohio State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing in civil litigation, with a strong focus on real estate litigation matters.
3. Proven track record of success in handling real estate litigation cases from inception to resolution.
4. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to craft compelling legal arguments and present complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify legal issues and develop effective strategies.
6. Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload while adhering to strict deadlines.
7. Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience in alternative dispute resolution methods.
8. Exceptional client service skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
10. A passion for real estate law, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to contribute to the success of our elite team.

Compensation: $75k to $115k
