The ideal candidate will assist in various administrative and logistical tasks to ensure the smooth execution of events. This is a hybrid position in Kansas City, MO.
Responsiblities
- Administrative support to Event Manager, including but not limited to, graphic requests, sponsorship logistics and coordination, invoice processing, etc.
- Responsible for submitting events for CLE hours and HR certification, including eligible courses for HRCI, SPHR and SHRM credits.
- Provides back-up event support to other markets and corporate events team, when needed (e.g., during LOA situations, resource shifts, etc.)
- Travel, as needed, to assist onsite with in-person events.
- Create and distribute surveys to gather feedback and data, analyze results, and report findings.
- Assist Events Team with coordination of PowerPoint presentations for Regional Employer conferences.
- Research potential venues for events, including availability, pricing, and suitability for the event's needs.
- Assist with ordering gifts, branded materials, and event giveaways.
- Upload event-related data into firm’s marketing tools for the purposes of tracking and reporting.
- Assist with interdepartmental project requests, event communications and pre- and post-event follow-up responsibilities.
- Review invitations and other deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and overall quality before distribution.
- Coordinate and manage the shipping of materials and items, ensuring timely delivery and tracking shipments.
- The ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
- High-level attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to use Excel and PPT and have a strong grasp of MS Office functions.
- Ability to proficiently create, edit and proofread communications and event deliverables.
- Successful track record of working independently and collaboratively in remote and in-person work settings.
