Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated HS Track Assistant Coach to join our team. If you have a love for track and enjoy working with students, this is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact through sports coaching.
Duties
- Assist with instructing and leading practices and meets
- Develop players' skills
- Assist with creating and implementing effective training programs tailored to individual and team needs
- Provide constructive feedback to runners to enhance their performance
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment
- Assist with managing team logistics such as scheduling meets, transportation, and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in track coaching or running at a competitive level is preferred
- Knowledge of track rules, strategies, and techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with students of all ages
- Ability to motivate and inspire runners to reach their full potential
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred
- Experience in behavior management and working with students is a plus
