What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver Trainer position at Littleton Public Schools?
- Provide hands-on training of school buses and equipment for all newly hired Bus drivers and Bus Para Professionals following all CDE, CDL, DOT and district rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Represent the district and participate in workshops to enhance and support the safe transportation of students.
- Perform all duties of a school bus driver including transporting students,completing vehicle safety inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, completing reports, reporting accidents and attending training classes.
- Provide retraining for employees as requested.
- Provide open and consistent communication through verbal and written documentation to the Operations Supervisors.
- Work cohesively with the team to create improvements and updates for the hands-on training curriculum.
- Perform other duties as assigned
