- Monitoring expenditure from the annual budget, as allocated to the Coordinator from the building level. Paying fees to the regional billing office.
- Purchasing and inventory of learning and professional development resources and distribution of IB DP publications.
- Visiting schools from which the high school draws, including those within and outside of the district
- Preparing promotional materials
- Arranging information meetings for parents and prospective parents
- Processing applications and record/file keeping for those students as they move through the program
- Meeting with students and families interested in the DP
- Issuing copies of the DP Updates and General Regulations, relevant sections of the Assessment Procedures and explaining their significance and relevance
- Requesting predicted grades and internal assessment marks from faculty
- Monitoring and acting on professional development needs for the IB program
- Publishing a timetable of internal school deadlines
- Writing and adhering to the academic honesty policy for students
- Supervising the construction and delivery of the Theory of Knowledge program
- Ensuring that group 1 and 2 oral examinations are properly conducted

- Maintaining records for CAS hours and reflections and informing the regional office of any students who do not complete their CAS program

- Informing supervisors and students about the extended essay requirement, the guidelines and assessment criteria
- Identifying teaching staff and suitable qualifications and experience to act as supervisors

- Informing students and invigilators about exam procedures and regulations
- Providing students with individual examination schedules and the IB DP handout on the conduct of examinations
- Checking requirements for calculators, data booklets, case studies and other authorized material for examinations
- Establishing an invigilation schedule and informing invigilators of the schedule, ensuring that all invigilators are aware of their responsibilities
- Encouraging teachers to complete and submit form G2 after each examination in their subject
- Submitting CAS information to the regional office
- Ensuring students receive their results and counselling students (and their parents) about their results
- Conveying diplomas, diploma results and certificates to students
