Salary is determined by placement on Licensed Salary Schedule according to education and experience.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and parents; desire and ability to function as a team member; ability to work with students in whole class and small group settings, knowledge of effective behavior management techniques; knowledge of running effective counseling groups; case management; crisis intervention; effective oral and written communication skills
Education/Certification:
1. Minimum of 60 graduate semester hours for the preparation of school psychologist, counselor or social worker.
2. Hold or be eligible to hold a Colorado Department of Education License.
3. Hold appropriate endorsement(s) as school psychologist, social worker, or counselor.
Experience:
1. Successful completion of internship in school psychology, social work or counseling.
2. Previous teaching experience subject area and/or level desirable.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: (Annual salary schedule based on 1.0 FTE)
Remainder of 2024-25 School Year Only
WORK YEAR: 187 contract days (district educator calendar)
